How to adopt a child ? |
The Department of Justice, beginning with the Tutelary Council of Teixeira de Freitas, manages the adoption processes.
Every child who for any reason cannot be reintegrated to his biological family is processed to adoption. Interested substitute parents can visit the children at Orphanage Renascer, and register with the City's Tutelary Council, that with the Prosecuting Attorney For Childhood and Youth will determine weather the family is suitable or not apt for adoption.
